  Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented her maiden Budget under conditions that are extremely trying for the economy. Economic growth has slumped from 8.2 per cent in 2016-17 to 6.8 per cent in 2108-19. It was 5.8 per cent in the last quarter of 2018-19.
