Attack on Iranian nuclear facilities can be dangerous for the whole world
Israeli aggression must stop immediately — IDPD
Indian Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD) have called for immediate cessation of attacks on Iran by the Israeli defence forces. This will have serious implications on the already volatile situation in the middle East and will have International ramifications.
In the statement Dr S S Soodan - Patron, Dr Arun Mitra - President and Dr Shakeel ur Rahman - General Secretary of the IDPD said that Israeli aggression has come at a time when the talks between the US and Iran are going on. However it would be naive to believe that Israeli aggression is without the consent and support of the US. Attack on the nuclear facilities can lead to leakage of nuclear radiations which can have catastrophic implications for the whole world.
Israel is already committing a heinous crime in Gaza where they have killed nearly 55000 people, 70% of them being women and children. It is extremely unfortunate that the UNO has been made ineffective by the US and erstwhile colonial powers who want to subjugate and dominate in the world again.
It is high time the developing countries united together to bring a positive change in the present Geo politics.
The rule-based architecture to resolve major global disputes has to be strengthened, the implications otherwise may turn out to be quite apocalyptic. Keeping in view our relations with Iran the Indian government should play a constructive role in this situation for restoration of peace.
