Belittling Importance of Gandhiji and his Inspiring Ideals and Principles

Monday 7 November 2016

Gandhi Jayanti, that is, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, the idol of millions of Indians, under whose supreme leadership the country became free and independent, is celebrated on October 2 throughout our vast landmass. He stood for a united, secular and democratic India, equal respect for all religions, a composite national culture and the elimination of hatred and discrimination through his highly inspiring principle of ahimsa. But the RSS and BJP, which aim at converting India into a Hindu country and establishing a Hindu state, are deadly opposed to the Gandhian philosophy; so they launched the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, a nasty plan which aims at burying the ideal principles of Gandhiji that had changed the course of Indian history.

The highly inflammatory and hate speeches against Muslims by the BJP leaders have resulted in the outbreak of anti-Muslim riots throughout the country due to which Muslims have suffered heavily but the PM has not uttered a word against these hate speeches. The majority of Indians, who are inspired by Gandhian principles, are sure to defeat this nasty plan of the chauvinistic Hindu communal forces represented by the BJP and RSS.
