COMMUNICATION

With reference to the article by Ajit Jawed, "Pakistan Failed Jinnah" (Mainstream, September 10, 2011), I want to point out that the write-up does not talk about the letter which Habibur Rahman, an ex-Muslim League member, wrote to his party members. In this letter he says that Jinnah was a follower of Chengiz Khan and Hitler. He wanted the Hindus to be killed and looted. He wanted that Hindu girls should be abducted and raped en-masse. I have compiled this letter from the old records and published it in my compilation Social Conquest of the Hindu Race.

The article also says: “The Muslim League under his leadership came closer to the Congress under the Lucknow Pact and decided to fight for swaraj shoulder to shoulder with the latter.” This is a lie. When N.D. Tiwari was the head of the Nainital Congress, he went to the local Muslim League office and proposed that the Congress and Muslim League should fight for freedom together. The Muslim League replied that he was welcome to come under the Muslim League flag but they would not fight for freedom under the Congress flag.

All kinds of lies on Jinnah—he was a secular and a great nationalist—are being spun. If he was a nationalsit or a secularist, then why did he demand partition at the point of the gun? He was in fact a TB patient and was afraid that if he died the dream of Pakistan would remain unfulfilled. Due to his illness he died soon after founding Pakistan. He was in a hurry to become the founder and father of Pakistan.

It is indeed true that Pakistan has failed Jinnah. Dr B.R. Ambedkar exhorted all the non-Muslim population, especially the Depressed Classes, of Pakistan to migrate to India whatever be the cost. He warned them that they would not be able to enjoy their freedom and that they would be reduced to the status of second class citizens if they stayed back. He was aware that the Islamic society is an intolerant society and would not allow the non-Muslims to live in peace and dignity. How prophetic he was! His words are being proved true every day. Pakistan has indeed failed Jinnah because it has been taken over by the Mullahs. The fascist Mullahs do not allow democracy to take roots in Pakistan because it is an undemocratic society. They say it openly that the Western style of democracy is not compatible with Islam.

Pakistan is on the edge and will become history soon especially because it is not able to control the terrorists. Their sweet voices are coming to India in droves to be heard. They have no other market except India where they are understood and liked. The rats know the ship is sinking.
