Restore the Last Address Plaque!
On November 23, 2023 in St. Petersburg, a memorial plate disappeared from house 32 on the banks of the Moika River. The last address of the resident of this house, Oskar Dobelnek, who was shot in 1938 by the then-Soviet regime. More and more such instances are being reported of memorial street signs and plates put up to remember victims of repression under Stalin are being vandalised and done away with. [see BBC report here)
